ATLauncher was not compatible with ARM devices previously. This update adds support for running Minecraft on ARM-compatible devices. We have tested it extensively and it should work well. However, if you are using an ARM device and experience issues, please contact us in Discord to let us know. We now fully support ARM devices.
We've been working to make the launcher work with multi-language languages. While we aren't there yet, we are getting close. The last step is to get the translations up-to-date so that the UI can be adjusted to accommodate different languages. If you are fluent in English or another language and would like to help translate the launcher, please visit the CrowdIn page. Feel free to contact us in our #translations channel on Discord.
Microsoft seems to have pulled support for Mojang accounts. To play on online servers, you will need to migrate your account to Microsoft as the legacy API's used to manage session management within the game are no longer working.
This could be a bug but it is more likely that it is intentional. You will no longer be allowed to log in to online servers with Mojang accounts.
This change is effective as of today. It will affect modpack downloads from CurseForge.
Modpacks that include mods that prevent third parties from downloading them may require additional steps to manually download the mods via your browser to complete the installation process.
Similar steps will be required for mods to CurseForge instances.
If you have any problems downloading CurseForge modpacks and mods, please contact us in our Discord.
Modrinth, a mod (and now modpack), platform that is an alternative to CurseForge, is what you need to know. Modrinth is open-source and has a lot of active development. It is exciting to see the Modrinth's progress. Modrinth.com provides more information about the project and Modrinth.
Modpacks can now be uploaded and downloaded from Modrinth. ATLauncher supports both exporting instances to Modrinth format for upload to Modrinth as well as downloading and installing pre-made packs.
Although this is still in Alpha, it looks great so far. We can't wait for more amazing packs to appear soon.
Check out the Modrinth tab under the Packs section of your launcher today to see if you find something new.
